Travelling across the Sapphire Isle, breakfast is often served with a view of rolling tea plantations. Sri-Lankan pancakes are proudly presented with spicy sambal or sticky fillings of coconut treacle tapped from the kitul palm. A ‘wood apple’ juice (ordered out of curiosity) is enthusiastically served. Good grief! A traditional English Breakfast tea will be the reliable complement to all meals henceforth.
Brew at 90℃ for 2+ minutes.
